Hello, I’m Madlyn — better known here as Appliance Granny!
I’m an almost-retired grandmother with over 30 years of experience running my own IT business. Technology has always been part of my life, but so has cooking, family, and finding practical ways to make daily living easier.
As a senior myself, I understand both the joys and challenges that come with age. From arthritic hands to confusing new appliances, I know how the kitchen can either be a place of frustration — or of happiness and independence.
That’s why I created Appliance Granny: to help other seniors enjoy safer, simpler, and more joyful kitchens. My blog is full of practical tips, product guides, and family-friendly cooking ideas, all designed with seniors in mind.
